Faithful Workers

Verse 1

We are soldiers of God, We’re encamped on the field, We will fear not nor falter, For the Lord is our shield. We will fight for our king, And prevail against wrong, For our captain is Jesus, And salvation our song.

Verse 2

We’ve enlisted for life; With our banners unfurled, We will march forth to battle, To conquer the world; Evil must be dethroned, Satan’s kingdom must fall, And the Christ of the Bible Shall rule over all.

Verse 3

Then with life’s battles fought, In our triumph complete, We will march to the city, To the great judgment seat. We will sweep thro’ the gates, Up the golden paved streets, And we’ll lay down our armor At the dear Savior’s feet.
