Oh, how blessed is the service We may render to the Lord When all duty glows with pleasure, And our wills with his accord.

I’m a child, and not a servant, Of the God whose grace I sing! I’m an heir of life eternal,— I’m the friend of Christ my King!

Oh, how blessed to be trusted With the secret of the Lord, As the Holy Spirit guides us Through the pathways of his Word.
