He Calleth His Sheep

O Jesus, our Shepherd, how sweet is thy voice, Its gentle tones we know; And in thy dear presence we always rejoice, Wherever thou leadest we go.

In pastures of plenty his flock ever feeds, And there our souls find rest; To wells of salvation he daily leads, Where waters are calm and so blest!

O blessed assurance, he knoweth his sheep, And he his own will claim; His flock from the snares of the foe he will keep, For he calleth them all by name.
