Oh, hide me, dear Savior, when wild tempests blow, The rock of my refuge when floods overflow; I see thy protection, oh, let me abide, Till life’s storms are past, sheltered safe at thy side.

Hide me near thee, Thou art the refuge of my soul; Hide me near thee, When the tempests round me roll.

Oh, hide me, dear Savior, when Satan is come To tempt my poor soul from my Savior to roam; Oh, let thy sweet spirit remain in my heart, My tower, my fortress, dear Savior, thou art.

Oh, hide me, dear Savior, thy precious ones hide, Tho’ dangers surrounding, sustain me and guide, And take me to rest with thy people at last, When life’s sun is set, and the storms are all past.
