I'm a Poor Sinner
Ada R. Habershon • English
Primary Scripture: Colossians 3:2
Verse 1
So weary am I, but the Lord can give rest; So needy, but coming to Him I am blest; I’m blind, but the Saviour can give to me light; By guilt I am stained, but He maketh me white.
Chorus
Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all, Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all.
Verse 2
I’m sinful, but He can my sin put away; In debt, but my debts He most freely doth pay; So thirsty my soul, but He gives me to drink; So poor, yet He grants me e’en more than I think.
Chorus
Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all, Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all.
Verse 3
I’m restless and troubled—He gives me His peace; Tho’ cold is my heart, yet His love will ne’er cease; I’m foolish, He calls me to learn at His feet, I’m lonely, He gives me His fellowship sweet.
Chorus
Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all, Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all.
Verse 4
Though naught I deserve, yet I’m saved by His grace, Tho’ hopeless and helpless He took up my case, I’m lost without Him, but my Saviour is He; I’m nothing at all but He’s all things to me.
Chorus
Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all, Yes! I’m a poor sinner and nothing at all, But Jesus my Saviour is my All in all.
