Jehovah ever reigns

Verse 1

Jehovah ever reigns, With majesty arrayed; And strength begirts his reins. The world unmoved is stayed.

Verse 2

Thy throne on high Hath firmly stood. For thou art God, Eternally.

Verse 3

The floods lift up their voice, The sea in tumult swells:

Verse 4

The Lord the fiercest noise Of raging waves excels.

Verse 5

Most sure's thy word: Strict holiness Will ever grace Thy house, O Lord.
