Jesus Bids You Draw Nigh

Verse 1

Jesus bids you draw nigh, He your wants will supply, For on Him your transgressions were laid; He invites you to come, For the poorest there’s room, Full salvation for all He has made.

Verse 2

At the altar of pray’r, None need ever despair, Christ is waiting your soul to renew; Take His pardon today, There is nothing to pay, On the cross it was purchased for you.

Verse 3

There is naught Christ could do, But He has done for you, He did suffer and die in your stead; Here His love spreads a feast, You may now be a guest, And your soul from His bounty be fed.
