Primary Scripture: Matthew 8:20

Verse 1

A manger, a cross, a grave Were all that the earth could give To Him who had come to save, Who suffered that we might live.

Chorus

No room for Him, no room for Him, In the crowded inn, In the world of sin, No room for the Lord of all.

Verse 2

The world had been made by Him, Yet offered Him naught beside, No room could they find for Him, The Saviour was left outside.

Chorus

No room for Him, no room for Him, In the crowded inn, In the world of sin, No room for the Lord of all.

Verse 3

He came to His own dear land, Yet was by His own despised, But they who received Him knew Their King, who was thus disguised.

Chorus

No room for Him, no room for Him, In the crowded inn, In the world of sin, No room for the Lord of all.

Verse 4

The manger, the cross, the grave, Were each for a season lent, Yet all things belonged to Him The King who to Calv’ry went.

Chorus

No room for Him, no room for Him, In the crowded inn, In the world of sin, No room for the Lord of all.

Verse 5

He never could make His home Where sin sets its crimson stamp, He calls us to follow Him, To go forth without the camp.

Chorus

No room for Him, no room for Him, In the crowded inn, In the world of sin, No room for the Lord of all.
