Lord, I Come

Primary Scripture: Psalm 6:2
Verse 1
Lord, I come, my sins confessing, At Thy feet I humbly bow, Waiting for Thy promised blessing; Jesus, hear and answer now.

Thou art waiting to be gracious, Waiting now my soul to heal; Wash me in Thy blood most precious, Cleanse from guilt and my pardon seal.
Verse 2
Worldly thoughts and vain ambition Turn my wav’ring soul from Thee; Sad indeed is my condition; Saviour, help and strengthen me.
Chorus
Thou art waiting to be gracious, Waiting now my soul to heal; Wash me in Thy blood most precious, Cleanse from guilt and my pardon seal.
Verse 3
Waves of sorrow round me swelling, Lord, to Thee I come for aid; Let me hear Thy sweet voice telling, “It is I, be not afraid.”
Chorus
Thou art waiting to be gracious, Waiting now my soul to heal; Wash me in Thy blood most precious, Cleanse from guilt and my pardon seal.
