Ye servants of the living God, From Afric’s sunny shore, Your deliverer praise with all your soul, And to Egypt return no more.

Three Hebrew children in the fiery furnace, Daniel in the lions’ den— My God delivered each of them, And why not you and me?

Behold this army dressed in white; How brave they do appear, All dressed and armed in uniform, They must be men of war.
