My heart its God would sing, But ah, my powers are small. Spirit of grace, Your helping bring, And raise and claim them all.

At morn, at noon, at night, In secret and abroad, O make it still my chief delight, To thank and praise my God!

Beyond the spreading sky, Your love and truth extend. Set up Your glory, LORD, on high, And reign the sinner's Friend.

Let earth her Monarch know; Set all Your people free: And while Thou healest others' woe, Be gracious, LORD, to me.
