O God, My Heart Is Fully Bent

O GOD, my heart is fully bent To magnify Your name; My tongue with cheerful songs of praise Shall celebrate Your fame.

To all the listening tribes, O LORD, Your wonder I will tell; And to those nations sing Your praise That round round about us dwell.

Because Your mercy's boundless height The highest heaven transcends; And far beyond th'aspiring clouds The faithful truth extends.

Verse 4

Be Thou, O God, exalted high Above the starry frame; And let the world, with one consent, Confess Your glorious name.
