Verse 1
O soul beset with sorrows deep; Why quake with fear and pine and weep; God is thy refuge ever near, O list, O soul, His sweet voice hear.

God is the midst of Zion stands, He will give peace with His strong hands; Nor will He with His help delay, Trust Him, O soul, and hear Him say,

Fear not, removed tho' earth should be, And mountains fall into the sea; In him thou wilt a refuge find, O hear His voice so sweet and kind.
