O the sweet wonders of the cross

Oh, the sweet wonders of that cross Where my Redeemer loved and died! Her noblest life my spirit draws From His dear wounds and bleeding side.

Verse 2

I would for ever speak His name In sounds to mortal ears unknown; With angels join to praise the Lamb, And worship at His Father's throne.

Verse 3

O Lord, the Lord of lords, to Thee Eternal praise and glory be; Whom with the Father we adore, And Holy Ghost for evermore.
