Only Thou

Verse 1

Thou whose blood was shed for me, Calmly in spirit I’m resting in Thee; Trusting Thy promise, whatever befall, Thou my Redeemer, my Refuge, my All. Only Thou my strength shalt be; Jesus my Saviour, I’m trusting in Thee.

Verse 2

Thou whose grace upholds me still, Making me ever a child of Thy will, Under Thy shadow how peaceful my way, Singing Thy goodness from day unto day; Only Thou my hope shalt be; Jesus, my Saviour, I’m happy in Thee.

Verse 3

Only Thou canst hide my soul Safe from the tempest and billows that roll; Though I must enter the valley so drear, Thou wilt be with me, no evil I fear; Only Thou my theme shalt be, Over the river in glory with Thee.
