Verse 1

Paul, a “prisoner of Jesus” There in Felix’s presence stands, And so eloquently pleads he, That attention he commands.

As he reasons Felix trembles; Paul, the Master’s faithful slave, Though on trial, prayeth only He the priceless soul may save.
