Praise to the Mighty Lord

As the host of God, to battle with the foe, In His might went forth and laid their thousands low, To the field of life with valor we will go, Singing praise to the mighty Lord.

From the Sunday School we shout the battle-cry, From the Sunday School we lift our banners high; In the Saviour’s name we’ll conquer by and by, Singing praise to the mighty Lord.

As the host of God pressed forward to the fight, With their swords that waved and sparkled in the light, Let us onward march for victory and right, Singing praise to the mighty Lord.

We will trust in God wherever we may go, And in every place our colors we will show; We will work for Him with gladness here below, Singing praise to the mighty Lord.
