Profession of Sincerity, Repentance, and Obedience

Verse 1

You are my portion, O my God! Soon as I know your way, my heart makes haste t'obey your word, and I will not delay. The testimonies of your grace I set before my eyes; I there derive my daily strength, and there my comfort lies.

Verse 2

If I have wandered from your path, I'll think upon my ways; then turn my feet to your commands, and trust your pardoning grace. I choose the path of heavenly truth, and glory in my choice; not all the riches of the earth can make me so rejoice.
