Restoring and Preserving Grace

Verse 1

With all my powers of heart and tongue, I'll praise my Maker in my song; Angels shall hear the notes I raise, Approve the song, and join the praise. The angels make your church their care; They’ll witness my devotion there. I'll sing your truth and mercy, Lord; I'll sing the wonders of your word.

Verse 2

I cried to you when troubles rose; You heard me, and subdued my foes; My fears dispersed through your control, And strength diffused through all my soul. Grace will complete what grace begins, To save from sorrows and from sins; Work that your wisdom undertakes Eternal mercy ne'er forsakes.
