Seek the Lord and His Strength

Verse 1

Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face evermore, Turn to Him in the hour of your need; Sing to Him, "Sing His praise," talk of all He hath done, He is mighty in word and in deed.

"Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face evermore," We are weak but Jehovah is strong; We shall conquer and sing in the name of the King, For the Lord is our strength and our song.

Verse 2

There are fightings and fears both without and within, There are foes on the left and the right, Take the armor of God, put your trust in His name, And be strong in the power of His might.

Verse 3

Let not sin like a cloud, Hide the light of His face, O beware lest you stumble and fall, Do not share with an idol the love that He claims, Let the Savior be all and in all.

Verse 4

O be loving and loyal, be faithful and true, For His banner above you is Love; Look away from yourself, from your weakness and fear, To Jehovah who reigneth above.
