Singing All the Day

A. F. Myers • English

Primary Scripture: Psalm 100:2

Verse 1

At my work I’m always singing, Tho’ the day be cold and long; Every thought is filled with music, And I can not cease my song.

Chorus

For I’m thinking of my Savior, And the love that crowns my days; So He fills my heart with gladness, And my mouth with grateful praise.

Verse 2

I am singing of the sunshine, Tho’ the sky be cold and gray; I am singing of the summer, Tho’ the winter chills the day.

Chorus

For I’m thinking of my Savior, And the love that crowns my days; So He fills my heart with gladness, And my mouth with grateful praise.

Verse 3

I’ve a hope ’mid scenes that perish, And my faith, on joyful wings, O’er the clouds of life arises, And in Jesus’ sunlight sings.

Chorus

For I’m thinking of my Savior, And the love that crowns my days; So He fills my heart with gladness, And my mouth with grateful praise.
