Son of God, to Thee I cry

Son of God, O hear my cry: By the holy mystery Of your dwelling here on earth, By your pure and holy birth, Lord, your presence let me see, Manifest yourself to me!

Lamb of God, O hear my cry: By your bitter agony, By your pangs, to us unknown, By your spirit’s parting groan, Lord, your presence let me see, Manifest yourself to me!

Prince of life, O hear my cry: By your glorious majesty, By your triumph o’er the grace, Meek to suffer, strong to save, Lord, your presence let me see, Manifest yourself to me!

Verse 4

Lord of glory, God most high, Man exalted to the sky, With your love my heart now fill; Prompt me to perform your will! Then your glory I shall see; Blessed for all eternity.
