The Church is the Garden of God

Verse 1

Lord, it’s a pleasant thing to stand in gardens planted by your hand; that is the place I would be seen like palm or cedar, fresh and green.

Verse 2

There grow your saints in faith and love, blessed with your influence from above; not Lebanon, with all its trees, yields such a comely sight as these.

Verse 3

Well blessed with fruits of life, they show that God is holy, just, and true. All who approach your gates shall find that you are faithful, good, and kind.
