The Lord Is Great

Verse 1

The Lord is great! ye hosts of heaven, adore Him, And ye who tread this earthly ball; In holy songs rejoice aloud before Him, And shout His praise who made you all.

Verse 2

The Lord is great; His majesty, how glorious! Resound His praise from shore to shore; O'er sin, and death, and hell, now made victorious, He rules and reigns for evermore.

Verse 3

The Lord is great; His mercy how abounding! Ye angels, strike your golden chords; Oh praise our God, with voice and harp resounding, The King of kings and Lord of lords.
