The March of Zion's King

List to the sound of the trumpet, 'Tis the coming of the King! List how the saints are shouting, and the very heavens ring. Lift up your heads ye pilgrims, There's a message from the sky; 'Tis the hour of your redemption, And the King is nigh.

O what a weeping and wailing, From among the sinful throng! They have no part forever in the saints' redemption song. It is their hour of judgment, and the judge of earth and sky, Cloth'd in the robes of vengeance Draweth nigh, yes, nigh.

List to the sound of the trumpet, 'Tis the year of jubilee! And this old earth from oppression shall a thousand years be free; It is the march of the Saviour, come the church's tears to dry, 'Tis the hallelujah morning, For the King is nigh.
