Verse 2

March on! march on! for God is with the right; March on! march on! and ye shall surely smite As a man the host of Midian, For the Lord will fight for Gideon, And the army of the foes be put to flight.

Behold! behold! oh, trusting little band; Behold! behold! and ye shall understand. Tho’ the evil ones surround thee, Yet they never shall confound thee, If ye faithfully obey the Lord’s command.
