Thee We Adore, Eternal Lord!

Verse 1

Thee we adore, eternal Lord! We praise Thy Name with one accord, Thy saints, who here Thy goodness see, through all the world do worship Thee.

Verse 2

To Thee aloud all angels cry, the heav'ns and all the pow'rs on high: Thee, holy, holy, holy King, Lord God of hosts, they ever sing.

Verse 3

Th'apostles join the glorious throng; the prophets swell th'immortal song; the martyrs' noble army raise eternal anthems to Thy praise.

Verse 4

From day to day, O Lord, do we highly exalt and honor Thee! Thy Name we worship and adore, world without end, for evermore!

Verse 5

Vouchsafe, O Lord, we humbly pray, to keep us safe from sin this day; have mercy, Lord, we trust in Thee; O let us ne'er confounded be!
