There's Coming a Time

There's coming a time when all who have journeyed Patiently in the heavenly way, Will hear the dear Master tenderly saying, "Enter my rest, O child of the day."

Verse 2

There's coming a time of judgment eternal, Day when the works of men shall be tried; When only the pure, the godly, the holy, Happy with Christ in heav'n shall abide.

Verse 3

There's coming a time when sinners shall hear Him, Saying in anger, "From me depart!" And driven to doom, shall wail that they never Gave to the Lord the love of their heart.

Verse 4

This wonderful time is swiftly approaching, Will you not now to meet it prepare? Repent and believe, be filled with the Spirit; Hurry! the time of judgment is near.
