Thou Hast Redeemed Me

Fanny Crosby • English

Primary Scripture: Isaiah 43:1

Verse 1

Over my spirit, silently musing, Came a sweet message, peaceful, divine; Tranquilly stealing, slowly repeating, I have redeem'd thee and thou art mine.

Chorus

Thou hast redeemed me, wonderful Saviour, Under Thy watch-care still would I be; Tenderly fold me, lovingly hold me; Hiding forever my soul in Thee.

Verse 2

Rich are the blessings Thou art bestowing, Bountiful Shepherd, Saviour divine; I shall not weary, walking beside Thee, Thou hast redeem'd me, my life is Thine.

Chorus

Thou hast redeemed me, wonderful Saviour, Under Thy watch-care still would I be; Tenderly fold me, lovingly hold me; Hiding forever my soul in Thee.

Verse 3

Green are the pastures, cool are the waters, Where at the noontide oft I recline; How shall I thank Thee, how shall I praise Thee? Thou hast redeem'd me, my life is Thine.

Chorus

Thou hast redeemed me, wonderful Saviour, Under Thy watch-care still would I be; Tenderly fold me, lovingly hold me; Hiding forever my soul in Thee.
