Primary Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:30

Verse 1

Unworthy creatures, we confess, Yet not cast down, are we; For Christ becomes our righteousness, And bids us joyful be.

Verse 2

Upon the cross of Calvary, He paid the mighty debt, That He might set His people free From sin's undone estate.

Verse 3

Not only are our sins forgiven, But we were crucified To all that keeps our souls from heaven, When Jesus for us died.

Verse 4

The knowledge of the truth makes free Sin's body is destroyed; Henceforth in gospel liberty Our lives shall be employed.
