Hear the shout of triumph, hear the mighty song, Filling earth and heaven as it rolls along; Like the roar of waters breaking on the shore; 'Tis vict'ry to the Savior, now and ever more!

Hear ye this cry, (Hear the shout of triumph, as we pass along;) Hear the (ringing) battle cry, For the foe is (drawing) nigh, 'Tis the ever glorious triumph song; (the song of triumph,) Hear ye this cry, (Hear the shout of triumph, as we pass along,) Hear the music ringing; All the world is singing 'Tis the song of triumph, the glorious victory.

Many were the battles, constant was the strife, Fierce the raging conflict in their earthly life, Yet they never falter'd, for the Lord was strong: He was the Rock and Fortress, Victory and Song.
