Whosoever Shall Call

Verse 1

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, Whosoever shall call, shall be saved; O hear the glad message proclaimed in the Word, Three times from high Heaven ’tis waved.

Lord, I call, and I mean it; I call yet again; I confess Thee my Savior and Lord; As I do so, I’m saved! God says it; Amen! I believe Him and rest on His Word.

Verse 2

Whosoever means me, whosoever means you, Whosoever means anyone here; Then come unto Him with a penitent heart, And call on His name while He’s near.

Verse 3

But how shall I call, then? By faith with thy heart, Unto all who thus call He is nigh; Nigh to bless, and to save, and His Spirit impart, And to calm with His love every sigh.

Verse 4

And when shall I call? Lo, the message is Now; And when will He answer my cry? The dying thief asked Him; the answer was Thou E’en today shalt be with Me on high.

Verse 5

Redemption is finished—you’ve only to ask; All the doing the Savior hath done; Then believe, and receive what your Father bestows Thro’ the wonderful gift of His Son.
