ps 95:1

O come, let us give thanks to the Lord, for he is gracious: and his mercy endures for ever.1

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; let the redeemed of the Lord say so: whom he has delivered from the merciless rage of the sea.2

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion: slow to anger, and of great mercy.3

But as the heaven is high above the earth: so great has been his mercy towards us.4

We found trouble and heaviness: we were even at death's door.5

The waters of the sea had well-nigh covered us: the proud waters had well-nigh gone over our soul.6

The sea roared: and the stormy wind lifted up the waves thereof.7

We were carried up as it were to heaven, and then down again into the deep: our soul melted within us, because of trouble; then cried we unto you, O Lord: and you did deliver us out of our distress.8

Blessed be your Name, who did not despise the prayer of your servants: but did hear our cry, and have saved us.9

You did send forth your commandment: and the windy storm ceased, and was turned into a calm.10

O let us therefore praise the Lord for his goodness: and declare the wonders that he has done, and still does for the children of men.11

Praised be the Lord daily: even the Lord that helps us, and pours his benefits upon us. He is our God, even the God of whom comes salvation: God is the Lord by whom we have escaped death.12

You, Lord, have made us glad through the operation of your hands: and we will triumph in your praise.13

Blessed be the Lord God: even the Lord God, who only does wondrous things; And blessed be the Name of his Majesty for ever: and let every one of us say, Amen, Amen.14

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;15

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.16
