The Ascension-Day

Grant, we beseech you, Almighty God, that just as we believe your only-begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ to have ascended into the heavens;¹

so we may also in heart and mind thither ascend, and with him continually dwell, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.²
