A Prayer for the Clergy and People

Almighty and everlasting God, who alone works great marvels;¹

Send down upon our Bishops, and Curates, and all Congregations committed to their charge,²

the healthful Spirit of your grace;³

and that they may truly please you,⁴

pour upon them the continual dew of your blessing.⁵

Grant this, O Lord, for the honour of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.⁶
