The Order of the Administration of the Lord's Supper, or Holy Communion

Almighty God, whose kingdom is everlasting, and power infinite:¹ Have mercy upon the whole Church;²

and so rule the heart of your chosen servant ELIZABETH, our Queen and Governor,³

that she (knowing whose minister she is) may above all things seek your honour and glory;⁴

and that we, and all her subjects (duly considering whose authority she has) may faithfully serve, honour, and humbly obey her, in you, and for you, according to your blessed Word and ordinance; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Ghost lives and reigns, ever one God, world without end. Amen.⁵
