Minister. O Lord, save your servant, and your handmaid;1
Answer. Who put their trust in you.
Minister. O Lord, send them help from your holy place;2
Answer. And evermore defend them.
Minister. Be to them a tower of strength,3
Answer. From the face of their enemy.
Minister. O Lord, hear our prayer.4
Answer. And let our cry come to you.
