O Lord, show your mercy upon us.¹

Answer. And grant us your salvation.

Priest. Endue your Ministers with righteousness.⁴

Answer. And make your chosen people joyful.

Priest. O Lord, save your people.⁵

Answer. And bless your inheritance.

Priest. Give peace in our time, O Lord.⁶

Answer. Because there is none other that fights for us, but only you, O God.⁷

Priest. O God, make clean our hearts within us.⁸

Answer. And take not your Holy Spirit from us.
