In the Ember Weeks,

who of your divine providence has appointed diverse Orders in your Church;¹

Give your grace, we humbly beseech you, to all those who are to be called to any office and administration in the same;²

and so replenish them with the truth of your doctrine, and endue them with innocency of life,³

that they may faithfully serve before you,⁴

to the glory of your great Name,⁵

and the benefit of your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.⁶
