David assures Solomon that he is not alone in the task of building the temple. Commentators explain that God had already provided a complete team: religious experts (priests and Levites) for guidance, skilled craftsmen who were eager to serve, and leaders and people who were wholly committed to following Solomon's direction. This demonstrates that when God gives a task, He also provides the people to accomplish it.
