God's Perfect Justice

Commentators note that David's praise was not for revenge but for God's perfect justice. God vindicated David's honor and, in His timing, brought judgment upon Nabal alone. This teaches us to entrust our cause to God, who judges righteously and keeps His servants from the sin of taking vengeance into their own hands.
