Resurrection Declares Sonship
Commentators overwhelmingly agree that Paul quotes Psalm 2:7 to explain the resurrection. This doesn't mean Jesus became the Son at his resurrection. Rather, the resurrection was the powerful, public declaration and vindication of His eternal Sonship.
