Luke 24:49-53

⁴⁹Behold, I send forth the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high."

⁵⁰He led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. ⁵¹It happened, while he blessed them, that he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven. ⁵²They worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, ⁵³and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
