A Small but Blessed Portion

Matthew Henry points out that while the borders are described in detail, the land itself was small. He draws a spiritual lesson from this: God's people may have a small share of this world, but what they have is blessed by Him and fruitful. Believers whose ultimate inheritance is in heaven can find contentment with a small earthly portion, knowing it is far better than the riches of the wicked.
