Grace is Not a License to Sin

Paul anticipates and vehemently rejects the idea that grace is a license to sin. All the commentators agree that Paul is addressing a dangerous misunderstanding: if we are no longer under the law that condemns sin but under grace that forgives it, can we sin without consequence?
