"But he denied, saying, I neither know, nor understand what thou sayest: and he went out into the porch; and the cock crew." — Mark 14:68 (ASV)

And he went out into the porch.—The noun is not the same as that used by Saint Matthew, but signifies literally “the space before the palace,” i.e., the vestibule. Substantially, of course, it comes to much the same meaning.
