The Order for the Visitation of the Sick

Do you believe in God¹

the Father Almighty,²

Maker of heaven and earth?³

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord?⁴

And that he was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary:⁵ That he suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried:⁶

That he went down into hell; and also did rise again the third day:⁷ That he ascended into heaven, And sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty:⁸

And from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead?⁹

And do you believe in the Holy Ghost:¹⁰ The holy Catholick Church;¹¹

The Communion of Saints:¹² The Forgiveness of sins:¹³

The Resurrection of the flesh,¹⁴

And everlasting life after death?¹⁵
